Dr Kelly Blincoe has been awarded a Royal Society Te Apārangi Rutherford Discovery Fellowship for her research programme titled ‘Towards more inclusive software engineering practices and tools to retain women in software engineering’. These prestigious grants support New Zealand’s most talented early- to mid-career researchers for a five year term. The Fellowships develop and foster the future leaders in the New Zealand science and innovation system by encouraging their career development and by enabling them to establish a solid track record for future research. They provide $800,000 of research funding over a five year term.
